Car Crashes Under Semi-Truck on Highway 198 in Hanford

HANFORD, Calif. (Jan. 20, 2022) — A two-vehicle Hanford accident on Highway 198 happened Thursday morning near 2nd Avenue.

The collision happened on the eastbound side of State Route 198 about 8:56 a.m. on Jan. 20th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials report a white, 4-door sedan crashed underneath a semi-truck and careened off into a field.

It’s unknown at this time what led up to the traffic accident. Paramedics responded to help those with minor injuries resulting from the collision. Police did not provide any further information about the collision at this time.

Also, a tow truck came to remove the damaged car from the Hanford intersection.

Finally, investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the Hanford accident on Highway 198.
