Rollover Accident Highway 23 in Moorpark
MOORPARK, Calif. (Sept. 12, 2018) — A rollover crash on northbound Highway 23 in Moorpark was blocking lanes Wednesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident was reported at 8:49 a.m. north of Tierra Rejada Road and the vehicle appeared to be on its side across the left lane.
Ventura County Fire also responded to the two-vehicle crash. At least one person was injured and taken to the hospital by ambulance, said Capt. Stan Ziegler, a spokesman for the agency. The extent of the injuries was not known, he said.
The CHP warned that traffic in the area would be slowed while the wreck was cleared. The agency estimated that the delays were expected at least until 10 a.m.

The driver who caused this collision is going to be held liable for the injuries to their own occupants as well as those who were in the other involved vehicle. Their could potentially be criminal charges made if a traffic violation is confirmed.
