At Least 1 Killed in Collision on SR-58
Hinkley, CA (February 25, 2023) – One person died following a traffic accident that occurred on State Route Highway 58, the California Highway Patrol group reported.
On February 25, Saturday, a semi truck collided with a silver sedan in the westbound side of the highway in Hinkley. Additional details on the description of the vehicles involved in the wreck have not been revealed thus far.
CHP logged the case around 2:07 a.m.
Deadly Traffic Accident in Hinkley
When rescue teams arrived at the scene, they found at least one person suffering in serious injuries. Responding paramedics performed life-saving measures to the victim but they sadly succumbed to their injuries and passed away. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Detectives assigned to handle the case stayed at the scene the whole morning. They continue to investigate the precise circumstances that led up to the deadly accident on State Route 58 in Hinkley.
