Minor Injury Bike Accident in Sacramento County
SACRAMENTO COUNTY, Calif. (May 5, 2023) — A hit-and-run bicycle accident happened Friday afternoon on Lang Avenue at Masonry Way in Lemon Hill, Sacramento County.
The minor-injury collision occurred around 1:18 p.m. on May 5th, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
A vehicle struck the woman riding a bicycle due to unknown circumstances. She went down in the roadway and suffered undisclosed injuries. Paramedics responded and noted she was alert and talking following the bicycle accident on Lang Avenue.
She was transported to Kaiser South Sacramento for further treatment.
Meanwhile, the driver involved fled the scene without stopping to help the bicycle rider.
Authorities continue to search for the motorist involved and the case remains under investigation.
