Hit-And-Run Motorist Sought for Fatal Bicycle Accident

 Hit-and-run Bicycle Accident Vermont Ave, Alondra Blvd. Near GardenaLOS ANGELES, Calif. (Nov. 29, 2021) – A fatal hit-and-run bicycle accident at Vermont Avenue and Alondra Boulevard happened early Sunday morning in Los Angeles in the Harbor Gateway area near Gardena.

A 39-year-old man died following the 2:40 a.m. collision at the intersection, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Meanwhile, LAPD officials are seeking the public’s help in finding the suspected hit-and-run motorist responsible for the man’s death.

Bicycle Accident Vermont Avenue

A driver traveling northbound on Vermont Avenue reportedly struck the victim as he traveled westbound on Alondra Boulevard, police said.

There is currently no description available about the hit-and-run vehicle or motorist.

However, the city of Los Angeles has a standing reward of up to $50,000 offered for information that helps authorities solve hit-and-run crimes such as this one.
