POINT REYES STATION, Marin County (July 4, 2016) – At least one person sustained injuries as a result of a hit-and-run crash on Highway 1 at Bear Valley Road, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The accident occurred today just before 1:30 p.m.
In detail, the CHP logged a vehicle was being chased after it evaded a crash scene. The suspect’s vehicle has been later stopped and five people have been detained. Further, the CHP team affirmed alcohol and drugs have been found inside the suspect’s vehicle.
No immediate information was provided on the victim.
Due to coroners still working on notifying the families of the involved, all names have been withheld.
