2 Injured in Hit-and-Run Collision in Paso Robles
PASO ROBLES, Calif. (Jan. 24, 2024) — A hit-and-run driver was arrested Monday night after an injury crash at Creston Road and Cedarwood Drive.
Two people were injured in the 9:40 p.m. collision on Monday, Jan. 22nd, according to KSBY. They were taken by ambulance to a hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries, police said.
Police responded to the crash scene and located two people with injuries, but the suspect fled the scene without stopping to exchange information or help the other motorists.
Deputies from the Paso Robles Police Department later found the driver, Nicacio Antonio Mendoza, 47, of Paso Robles.
He was arrested on felony DUI and felony hit and run and booked into the San Luis Obispo County Jail.
The hit-and-run Paso Robles crash remains under investigation.
