1 Hospitalized After Collision at Restaurant Parking Lot Tuesday
Fresno, CA (November 17, 2021) – A pedestrian suffered injuries following suspected hit-and-run crash that occurred in the area of Fresno Street and Friant Avenue.
The ABC30 News reported a vehicle struck a male party at the parking lot of Applebee’s in northeast Fresno. Officials briefly described the victim as a man in his 40s.
According to the article published online, the collision took place Tuesday at about 10:30 p.m.

Medical personnel rushed to the accident scene. First responders found the pedestrian with injuries to his body and head. Due to the condition of the victim, an ambulance rushed him to the hospital for treatment and further evaluation. The name of the patient remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Meanwhile, authorities mentioned they also found at the crash site a parked car with damages. The hit-and-run driver possibly hit the parked car while evading the scene. No immediate information was available on the suspect.
Investigators continue to work at this time to determine several factors surrounding the pedestrian accident at Fresno Street and Friant Avenue.
