Police Seek Hit-And-Run Motorist in Pacoima
PACOIMA, Calif. (July 12, 2023) – A man about 69 years old was critically injured Tuesday in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Glenoaks Boulevard in Pacoima.
The collision occurred around 6:15 p.m. on July 11th, just north of Montford Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Pedestrian Accident Glenoaks Boulevard
A driver in a silver sedan was traveling at high speed northbound on Glenoaks Boulevard. The driver reportedly crossed over the bicycle lane and hit the pedestrian, according to police. The victim had just parked his car and was standing next to the driver’s door when the car hit him.
Now police are searching for the suspect who fled the scene without stopping to help the injured man.
Paramedics transported the injured man to a hospital, police said. His name and city of residence were not released at this time.
Meanwhile, the LAPD is searching for the suspect who fled in a silver sedan at high speed traveling northbound on Glenoaks Boulevard.
Finally, there is a standing reward of up to $25,000 by the city of Los Angeles. Anyone who provides information that helps to solve the case may receive the reward.
