Driver Sought in Hit-and-run Crash Involving Pedestrian

MADERA, Calif. (August 15, 2024) – A pedestrian suffered injuries in a hit-and-run traffic accident Wednesday night on South C Street in Madera.

The Madera Police Department responded to the scene around 9 p.m. on August 14th to the 600 block of South C Street in Madera, Your Central Valley reports.

However, upon their arrival, the driver involved had fled the scene and left the victim with undisclosed injuries.

Authorities are now investigating the circumstances leading up to the collision and they are on the lookout for the suspect.

Paramedics responded to help the victim, but there are no further details.
