Suspect Sought in Major Injury Pedestrian Accident

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (March 12, 2025) — A pedestrian was hospitalized with major injuries following a hit-and-run accident Tuesday night at Valley Hi Drive and Grandstaff Drive in Sacramento.

The pedestrian collision occurred around 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 11th, according to the Sacramento Police Department.

The circumstances leading up to the collision are unknown at this time. However, there are marked crosswalks on all four sides of the intersection and it’s controlled by traffic lights in all directions.

Police are investigating the hit-and-run crash after one person was taken to the hospital with major injuries.

Authorities are searching for the suspect and the crash remains under investigation.
