Fatal Bakersfield Truck Accident on Interstate 5 Freeway
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (Sept. 6, 2018) — A box truck driver identified as Hmayak Yeghiazaryan, 52, of North Hollywood, died after rear-ending a semi-tractor trailer truck early this morning in the southbound lanes of the Interstate 5 Freeway, according to Bakersfield Now.
The crash took place about 3:18 a.m. near the Grapevine. The circumstances that caused the crash were not disclosed.
Police closed down the two right lanes and a nearby inspection station while work crews cleaned up the highway.

Police are piecing together what happened to cause this crash in an effort to determine fault.
