HOLLISTER, Calif. (July 17, 2018) — Several people were injured Tuesday morning in two collisions that took place on state Route Highway 152, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The first collision was reported at 5:03 a.m. between two vehicles including a van. About 10 minutes later, a person got out of the 2006 GMC van and was struck by a vehicle. One vehicle overturned onto its roof and was on fire. The pedestrian then got into a Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck and was taken to a nearby Chevron gas station in Santa Nella. Paramedics responded to help those who were hurt including at least one person with major injuries.
The circumstances that led to the collision is under investigation.
