2-Vehicle Crash Ended in a Car Overturned
Hollister, Calif. (July 11, 2023) — A car accident occurred Tuesday morning on Fairview Road, near Dixie Drive in the city of Hollister California.
The collision occurred about 11:42 a.m. on July 11, near Dixie Drive in San Benito County according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
A car was allegedly speeding down Fairview Road and hit a truck. The collision caused one of the vehicles to overturn. The second vehicle landed in a ditch. Meanwhile, the overturned vehicle began leaking gas in the roadway. The fire department soon arrived on the scene and closed the lanes going northbound and southbound.
The paramedics responded to the scene and helped those injured in the collision. At least one person suffered major injuries, but there were no further details.
Meanwhile, tow trucks arrived to remove the debris and to clear the damaged cars out the the road.
Investigators are working on the case to determine who is fault for the accident on Fairview Road in Hollister.
