Major Crash on Pacheco Pass Highway 152
HOLLISTER, Calif. (August 8, 2023) — Two people were injured in a Hollister car accident on Highway 152 on Tuesday, just east of Casa De Fruta Parkway.
The multi-vehicle collision happened on State Route 152 Tuesday afternoon on August 8th, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch. A driver reportedly swerved off the roadway and hit a K-rail before moving back into traffic lanes and colliding with the second vehicle.
The drivers of a Honda Accord and a second Honda were among two or three vehicles involved in the major injury crash.
Paramedics responded to help those hurt in the crash. An elderly woman and an older male were both injured in the crash. She suffered a neck injury and the man had injuries to his hand and body, the report said.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed both damaged vehicles from the freeway. The Accord had major all around damage and the other Honda had major front-end damage.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault.
