Hollister Car Accident San Felipe Road, State Route Highway 156

Major Injury Crash at Hollister Intersection; Truck Overturned

HOLLISTER, Calif. (Sept. 26, 2023) — A major injury Hollister car versus truck accident happened Tuesday at San Felipe Road and State Route Highway 156.

The two-vehicle collision occurred at around 5:30 a.m. on Sept. 26th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported the drivers of a semi-truck and a red sedan were involved. It’s unknown what led up to the crash that left both vehicles in a ditch on the side of the roadway. The car wound up on the westbound side of the road with major all around damage. The truck landed on its side on the eastbound side of the roadway. Also, both vehicles required removal by tow trucks.

Meanwhile, paramedics responded and located the driver of the car with major injuries from the collision. One person was also trapped in the truck with moderate injuries. They transported the injured by ambulance to an area hospital.

Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the Hollister accident on Highway 156.
