4 Injured in Hollister Crash on Westbound Highway 152 Near Highway 156
HOLLISTER, CA (June 19, 2021) – Several were injured after a car crash on Highway 152 near Highway 156 in Hollister.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident occurred on Saturday morning. Officers reported the wreck at about 11:41 a.m.
The incident began when a red Ford F-150 pickup collided with a Toyota for an unknown reason in Hollister. The Toyota then slammed into a Chevrolet.
Multiple Cars Collide Near Casa De Fruta
CHP said the impact pushed the Chevrolet into a Honda. The four cars crashed in the westbound lanes of Highway 152, just east of Highway 156.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene just west of the Casa De Fruta. They found a total of four people who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then treated all four patients for the minor injuries they sustained in the incident. Officials did not disclose their names and condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officers forced westbound lanes of Highway 152 to shut down following the wreck. Authorities are still determining the cause of the Hollister crash.
