3 Injured in Hollister Crash Near San Benito Street and River Parkway
HOLLISTER, CA (November 11, 2021) – Several were hospitalized after a car crash near San Benito Street and River Parkway in Hollister.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident took place on Thursday afternoon. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck at about 4:09 p.m.
CHP said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Hollister. They crashed near the intersection of San Benito Street and River Parkway.
2 Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Baler Aquatic Center. They found three people who sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to the Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital for treatment. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of San Benito and River to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Hollister crash is still under investigation.
