At Least 1 Killed in Traffic Collision on Highway 152 Thursday
Hollister, CA (August 12, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a fatal car crash that occurred on State Route Highway 152 Thursday morning.
Initial records indicated a vehicle veered off the roadway while heading east on the highway in Hollister. According to the CHP dispatch, the driver lost control of the car and drove down the embankment near Dinosaur Point. The make and model of the automobile involved in the catastrophic incident have not been revealed thus far.
Shortly after 8:16 a.m., rescue teams arrived at the crash site. Responding firefighters reportedly extracted all parties found trapped in the wreckage.

The CHP log later confirmed at least one person sadly died as a result of the collision. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
At this time, investigators handling the case continue to work to determine exactly how and why the fatal car crash in Hollister happened.
