HOLLISTER (November 23, 2016)- According to the California Highway Patrol, a deadly crash was reported Wednesday morning at or near the intersection of Westside and Buena Vista roads.
The collision occurred at 5:59 a.m. involving two vehicles.
The Hollister Police Department and the local fire department were dispatched to the crash site where two vehicles had crashed into a pole.
At least one motorist sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene while at least one other victim was seriously injured and rushed to a trauma center.
No details have been released disclosing the sequence of events which took place leading up to the accident as the incident remains under investigation.
