2-Vehicle Collision on State Route 25 in Hollister
HOLLISTER, Calif. (Sept. 9, 2022) — A head-on Hollister crash on Highway 25 at Briggs Road happened Friday morning, just south of the Hollister Municipal Airport in San Benito County.
The fiery, two-vehicle crash occurred on State Route 25 about 6:06 a.m. on Sept. 9th, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch report.
The drivers of a silver Honda Civic and a white Mercedes sedan collided when one of them entered the highway. The Honda caught on fire and both vehicles’ front ends were stuck together following the crash. Additionally, one person was stuck inside one of the vehicles.
Minor Injury Crash on Highway 25 in Hollister
Firefighters and paramedics responded to help those involved. Also, they transported at least one person with minor injuries to a hospital.
Police closed down the roadway in both directions and tow trucks removed the two vehicles from the roadway.
Meanwhile, investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the Hollister crash on Highway 25.
