Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Hollister Crash at Highway 25 and Shore Road
HOLLISTER, CA (July 10, 2022) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a crash at Highway 25 and Shore Road in Hollister.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place on Sunday morning. Officers reported the wreck at about 11:20 a.m.
CHP said the motorcycle rider collided with the back of an orange Toyota RAV 4 in Hollister. The two crashed for an unknown reason at the intersection of Highway 25, known as Bolsa Road, and Shore Road.
Motorcycle and Car Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Frazier Lake Airpark. They found the motorcyclist who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed the patient to a hospital for treatment. The report did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP mentioned that the driver of the car stayed at the site following the wreck. Officers forced the area of Highway 25 and Shore Road to shut down after the incident.
The cause of the Hollister crash is still under investigation.
