At Least 1 Badly Hurt After Traffic Collision at San Justo Road and San Juan Highway Monday
Hollister, CA (May 17, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a truck accident that occurred in the area of San Justo Road and San Juan Highway Monday evening.
Per CHP log, a blue truck and a food truck collided at the Hollister intersection. The crash took place at approximately 8:45 p.m.
Initial records indicated the force from the impact resulted in significant damage to both automobiles.
Major Injury Truck Accident in Hollister, May 17
When emergency crews arrived at the site, they found the driver of the blue truck trapped in the wreckage. Firefighters were called to the scene to pull out the driver. Following a successful extrication, paramedics rendered aid to the man and later confirmed they sustained major injuries as a result of the incident.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the operator of the food truck.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate exactly how and why the truck accident in Hollister happened.
