2 Injured in 5-Vehicle Crash on Hollywood (101) Freeway
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Oct. 18, 2021) — A Hollywood (101) Freeway crash happened Monday morning near Barham Boulevard involving multiple vehicles.
The 5-vehicle crash happened about 6:09 a.m. on Oct. 18th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP reported the vehicles blocked the Nos. 1, 2 and 3 lanes of the freeway following the collision. Police did not mention what led up to the collision at this time.
Los Angeles Fire Department Responds
Meanwhile, at least two people were injured in the collision and police requested paramedics to respond. The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the freeway and located two people with head trauma. They transported the two injured people to hospitals for further treatment. The CHP report did not mention the age, gender or identity of the injured people.
Also, CHP officials requested four tow trucks to remove the damaged vehicles from the freeway.
