 Hollywood 101 Freeway Crash, Melrose Avenue (June 21) LOS ANGELES, Calif. (June 21, 2021) — A two-vehicle Hollywood 101 Freeway crash happened Monday morning near Melrose Avenue.

The traffic accident happened about 10:54 a.m. on June 21st, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Meanwhile, the CHP reports a black Chevrolet Spark sedan allegedly rear-ended a driver in a white Ford Fusion. Police have not mentioned how many people occupied the two vehicles involved. Also, the vehicles blocked the No. 1 lane of the southbound freeway and left the Ford with moderate rear-end damage, police said.

Paramedics responded to treat anyone hurt in the Hollywood 101 Freeway crash. However, it’s unknown if anyone went to a hospital. The Santa Monica Boulevard onramp to the southbound 101 was temporarily shut down due to the collision, police said.

Investigators will determine fault for the Hollywood 101 Freeway crash.
