Pedestrian Hit and Killed by Car on 101 Freeway

HOLLYWOOD (April 1, 2018) – A fatal pedestrian accident occurred Saturday morning on the northbound 101 Freeway, according to Los Angeles Daily News.

Primary reports indicated that a man was walking along the freeway near Sunset Boulevard when he was struck by a vehicle of unspecified built and type.

At approximately 11 a.m., emergency teams arrived at the accident scene and attended to the pedestrian involved in the crash. The man reportedly suffered fatal injuries as a result of the collision.

The unidentified pedestrian was sadly pronounced deceased before being taken to a hospital.

Meanwhile, no immediate information has been yet released on the motorist who struck the pedestrian. The California Highway Patrol group continue to investigate the case.
