Pedestrians Injured in Hollywood Hills Hit-and-Run on Mulholland Drive
LOS ANGELES, CA (October 6, 2021) – Several pedestrians were injured after a hit-and-run crash on Mulholland Drive in Hollywood Hills.
According to an article published by My News LA, the accident took place on August 15. Officers reported the collision at about 9 p.m.
The incident began when a vehicle was going east Mulholland Drive in the Hollywood Hills neighborhood. For an unknown reason, the car swerved in a southeast direction.
Police said its driver then ran off the road and struck multiple pedestrians standing along the south curb of Mulholland Drive at the time. The crash occurred near Outpost Drive.
Victims Hit by Car
The pedestrians hit by the car all ended up hurt as a result of the collision. One of them sustained severe injuries upon impact.
Paramedics provided aid to the patients and rushed the seriously wounded person to a hospital for treatment. The report did not disclose the names of the victims and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the motorist did not stop to render aid and fled the area. They described the suspect vehicle as a 4-door 2016-2018 Honda Civic, black or dark gray in color.
