Several Injured in Collision at Sunset Boulevard and Van Ness Avenue Tuesday
Hollywood, CA (September 11, 2021) – A high-speed chase ended in a car crash at the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Van Ness Avenue on September 7.
The Patch News reported a gray Dodge Challenger was reported stolen Tuesday. Police launched a pursuit when they spotted the vehicle driving in the streets of Hollywood.
Preliminary investigation revealed the chase started at about 2:24 a.m.; in the area of Gower Street and Afton Avenue.
The high-speed pursuit came to an end at the crossing of Sunset Boulevard and Van Ness Avenue. According to the article published online, the Dodge collided into another car. The crash caused a pileup at the intersection.
3 Hurt in Hollywood Car Crash, September 7
Our sources indicated the driver of the Dodge and his passenger both suffered injuries as a result of the incident. Authorities added at least one innocent person in one of the vehicle involved in the pile-up also sustained injuries from the accident.
Additional details on the collision have not been discussed thus far. Further investigation on the car crash on Sunset Boulevard is underway.
