Several Injured in Traffic Collision on Highway 98
Holtville, CA (November 21, 2021) – On October 21, a car accident occurred on State Route Highway 98 near mile marker 51.

The California Highway Patrol group reported the crash involved a US Border Patrol car. At this time, the exact number of automobiles involved in the collision remained unclear. But officials mentioned a gray Toyota Tundra was found at the scene.
Shortly after 7:10 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the accident scene. First responders rendered aid to all possible victims. According to the CHP dispatch, seven or more people possibly sustained injuries as result of the wreck.
The CHP log mentioned officials took into custody eight undocumented individual from the crash site. Additional details on the illegal immigrants remained undisclosed.
Investigators continue to work at this time to determine exactly how and why the car accident in Holtville happened.
