Motorcyclist Injured in Car Accident at Holtville Intersection
HOLTVILLE, Calif. (July 18, 2024) — A 20-year-old Mexicali man was critically injured in a Holtville motorcycle accident Monday afternoon on Highway 115, near Towland Road.
A 91-year-old Holtville man driving a Toyota Corolla was traveling eastbound on Highway 115 when he turned left into the path of the westbound Suzuki 250 motorcycle. The rider was thrown off the bike during the crash during the crash.
The young man was airlifted to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs for treatment of major injuries from the 1:54 p.m. crash on July 15th, according to the CHP and Calexico Chronicle.
Investigators are working on the case, but no charges were filed at the time of the Holtville motorcycle accident on Highway 115.
