Major Injury Collision Near Hoyt Road Wednesday
Holtville, CA (December 22, 2021) – A traffic accident that occurred Wednesday afternoon on State Route 115 resulted in injuries, the California Highway Patrol group reported.
Initial records indicated an off-road vehicle collided with a pickup truck on SR-115, also known as Evan Hewes Highway. The CHP logged the case at approximately 2:20 p.m.
When medical personnel arrived at the location, they immediately rendered aid to all possible victims. Authorities confirmed, after the evaluation, two people suffered injuries as a result of the wreck.

The CHP dispatch mentioned two helicopters transported two patients to the hospital for treatment of major injuries. At this time, the names of the victims remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole afternoon to investigate exactly how and why the traffic accident on State Route 115 in Holtville happened.
