1 Killed, 1 Injured in Homeland Crash at Homeland and McWade Avenues
HOMELAND, CA (October 15, 2022) – A crash killed one person and injured another at Homeland and McWade avenues in Homeland.
According to an article published by My News LA, the tragic accident took place on Saturday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 2:36 p.m., west of Hemet.
The incident happened when a motorcycle and two SUVs collided for an unknown reason in Homeland. The three crashed at the intersection of Homeland and McWade avenues.
Motorcycle and 2 Cars Collide
A witnesses said an unresponsive child was inside one of the cars involved. The report added that the motorcyclist ended up hurt and a passenger became stuck in a vehicle.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived and pronounced one individual dead at the scene. Another patient sustained minor to moderate injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed the party to a hospital for treatment. The names of the deceased and wounded victims have not been yet released.
Meanwhile, officers forced the area of Homeland and McWade avenues to shut down for a time following the wreck. The cause of the fatal crash is still under investigation.
