Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Vehicle on Highway 74
HOMELAND, Calif. (August 6, 2019) – Milton Horkey, 71, of Homeland, died in a pedestrian accident early Friday on Highway 74 in Riverside County.
The fatal crash was reported in the 31000 block of Highway 74, approximately 150 feet east of Olson Avenue in Homeland, according to the Riverside County Sheriff Coroner.
Horkey was pronounced dead at the scene about 3:39 p.m., the coroner said.
The report stated that the victim was struck at an unknown time and it’s unknown if the driver stopped.
The fatal crash remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol’s Temecula station to determine fault.
