Homer Valle, 88, Killed in Oxnard Crash at H Street and Janetwood Drive
OXNARD (December 29, 2018) – An elderly pedestrian was killed after a traffic accident in the area of H Street and Janetwood Drive Wednesday, according to Ventura County Star.
The victim has been identified as 88-year-old Homer Valle, of Oxnard.
As per the article, police said Valle was struck by a 2006 Hummer H2 for an unknown reason near the intersection of H Street and Janetwood Drive.
The vehicle was traveling west along Janetwood Drive when it hit Valle. The collision was reported on December 26 at 5:45 p.m.

Fire department officials along with the paramedics responded to the scene and transported the severely injured elderly man to St. John’s Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The pedestrian ultimately succumbed to his injures on Saturday, December 29.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the 20-year-old Thousand Oaks woman driving the Hummer stopped after hitting Valley and cooperated with the authorities.
