Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Hoopa Crash at Highway 98 and Hostler Field
HOOPA, CA (March 24, 2023) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a crash at Highway 98 and Hostler Field Road in Hoopa.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, the wreck took place on Friday morning. Officers reported the accident on March 24 at about 8:41 a.m.
The incident happened when the motorcycle rider and a truck collided for an unknown reason in Hoopa. The two crashed at the intersection of Highway 98 and Hostler Field Road.
Motorcycle and Truck Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found the motorcyclist who ended up suffering from major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed the patient to a hospital for treatment of possible broken leg. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Highway 98 and Hostler Field to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Hoopa crash is still under investigation.
