Head-on Traffic Accident on Highway 101 in Hopland

HOPLAND, Calif. (Sept. 23, 2022) — A head-on crash involving three vehicles happened Friday morning on Highway 101, near Road 112A near the Jeriko Estates Winery.

The multi-vehicle collision occurred 10:08 a.m. on Sept. 23rd, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported the drivers of a Toyota Prius, a Toyota pickup truck and a small car are involved.

Paramedics responded and located at least one person with major injuries. A helicopter came to airlift at least one person to a trauma center for further treatment.

Investigators are working to determine fault for the Hopland crash.
