Vehicle Hits 2 Women at 24th Avenue and Santiago Street
San Francisco, CA (October 27, 2022) – Huansu He died, and another person suffered injuries following a pedestrian accident that occurred in the area of 24th Avenue and Santiago Street.
According to KRON4 and ABC7 News, two elderly women were walking inside a marked crosswalk at the intersection in the Sunset District. Earlier reports indicated a driver failed to slow down and yield to a stop sign at the crossing. The speeding car entered the intersection and hit the two pedestrians.
Fatal Pedestrian Accident in San Francisco
Emergency crews responded to the crash site shortly after 10:52 a.m. Medical personnel immediately rendered aid to the two females found suffering in injuries. The article published online confirmed one victim sadly succumbed to her trauma, and passed away at the scene. Relatives identified the deceased as Huansu He.
Authorities added the second victim was taken to a hospital, where she was listed in critical condition.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the deadly accident that happened at 24th Avenue and Santiago Street in Sunset District.
