Huber Barrera Toledo, 43, Killed in Thermal Crash on Harrison Street
THERMAL, CA (May 27, 2023) – Huber Barrera Toledo was killed after a crash on Harrison Street near Pierce Street in Thermal.
The coroner’s office identified the 43-year-old Thermal man as the victim in the fatal wreck which took place on Thursday.
The incident happened when Huber Barrera Toledo was riding a car which collided with another vehicle in Thermal near Oasis. The two crashed for an unknown reason on Harrison Street near Pierce Street.
1 Injured in Wreck
The California Highway Patrol described the cars as a Ford Ranger and a Toyota Corolla. The Riverside County Fire Department said one vehicle rolled over due to the impact of the collision and came to a stop on its roof.
The Desert Sun and My News LA wrote that the accident occurred on May 25 at about 2:49 p.m. Huber Barrera Toledo died at the scene of the crash.
Another person ended up hurt as a result of the wreck. Paramedics then rushed the patient to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Harrison and Pierce streets to shut down for a time following the wreck. The cause of the Thermal crash is still under investigation.
