2 Injured in Hughson Crash at Tully Road and Narciso Way

HUGHSON, CA (March 31, 2022) – A crash injured a motorcyclist and a driver at Tully Road and Narciso Way in Hughson.

According to an article published by The Modesto Bee, the accident took place on Wednesday evening. Officers reported the wreck on March 30 at about 6 p.m.

The incident began when a 31-year-old Hughson man was riding a motorcycle north on Tully Road near Narciso Way. At the same time, an ice cream van was going west on Narciso.

Motorcycle and Ice Cream Van Collide

For an unknown reason, the rider broadsided the ice cream van in the intersection. Deputies said the two collided just south of Hatch Road.

Paramedics arrived at the scene and found the motorcyclist who sustained major injuries, including head trauma, as a result of the collision. They rushed him to a hospital for treatment.

Medical personnel took the 61-year-old ice cream van driver with minor injuries. The report did not release the names of the patients and their condition at this time.

Meanwhile, officers forced the area of Tully Road and Narciso Way to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Hughson crash is still under investigation.
