Ontario Man, 25, Killed in Crash on I-10 Freeway

UPLAND, Calif. (Jan. 27, 2025) — Hugo Ayala, 25, of Ontario, died early Saturday morning in a pedestrian accident on the Interstate 10 in Upland.

The deadly crash occurred around 1:20 a.m. on January 25, 2025, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officers responded to the I-10, just west of S. Sultan Avenue in Upland, the report said.

The Ontario man, identified as Hugo Ayala, was pronounced dead at the scene.
