Hugo Alfredo Ramirez Ramirez, 19, Dead After Car Accident Near Interstate 15
Escondido, CA (April 10, 2021) – Two people, including Hugo Alfredo Ramirez Ramirez, died following a traffic collision on Lawrence Welk Court on April 2, Friday.
According to the San Diego Union-Tribune, Hugo Ramirez was behind the wheel of a sedan traveling on Lawrence Welk Court. Officials believed the man was driving at a high rate of speed.
Our sources indicated the 2016 Toyota Scion crashed in the 28000 block of Lawrence Welk Court, just west of Interstate 15. Responding emergency crews found the vehicle several hundred feet plunged down a hillside in the Deer Springs area.
Double Fatal Traffic Collision in Escondido, April 2
When rescue teams arrived at the site, they immediately extricated Hugo Ramirez and his passenger. Paramedics performed life-saving measures to both the driver and the victim but they sadly succumbed to their injuries and died.
Investigators continue to work at this time to determine the precise cause of the fatal car crash in Escondido.
