Cyclist Injured in Collision Near Highway 299
Humboldt, CA (August 26, 2022) – A traffic accident that occurred on State Route Highway 101 resulted in injuries, the Redheaded Blackbelt News reported.
Auto vs. Bicycle Accident on Highway 101 in Humboldt
Officials said a man riding a bicycle collided with a passenger car on SR-101 in Humboldt. The crash took place near the intersection with State Route Highway 299.
Shortly after 10:20 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the crash site. Responding medical personnel immediately rendered aid to all parties involved in the wreck. After the evaluation, paramedics confirmed the bicyclist sustained injuries to their back. The name of the victim, and their condition at this time have not been revealed thus far.
Additional details on the collision remained undisclosed. At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise circumstances that led up to the accident on Highway 101 in Humboldt.
