At Least 1 Badly Hurt in Traffic Collision on Highway 36 Sunday
Humboldt, CA (August 29, 2021) – A car accident that occurred early Sunday on State Route Highway 36 resulted in injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
Primary reports indicated a solo-vehicle crashed into the side of the embankment along eastbound Highway 36. Due to the force from the impact, the car sustained significant damage and ended up disabled on the freeway.
Major Injury Car Accident in Humboldt, August 29
Shortly after 2:20 a.m., emergency crews arrived at the location. First responders found at least one person with major injuries. At this time, it remained unclear if the injured party was the driver; or a passenger in the car at the time of the collision. Per CHP log, paramedics transported the injured party to Mad River Community Hospital for treatment and further evaluation.
Several factors surrounding have not been discussed thus far. Given that, detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate exactly how and why the major car accident on Highway 36 happened.
