Motorcyclist Badly Injured in Crash on Highway 255 Near Samoa Boulevard
DATE OF COLLISION: Saturday, October 27th
October 28, 2018 – A traffic collision involving a motorcycle occurred on Highway 255 near Samoa Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol group.
The accident logged on Saturday at 8:53 a.m.
As per the dispatch, a motorcyclist was heading west on Highway 255 when a white Subaru Outback unsafely drove past the rider. Officials believed the Subaru caused the motorcyclist to crash into the center divider.
Major Injury Accident Saturday in Humboldt
First responders immediately attended to the motorcyclist, who appeared to have sustained major injuries as a result of the crash. The identity of the victim, and their condition at this time remained unclear.
Meanwhile, no information was disclosed on the Subaru driver.
The detectives handling the case continue to work to determine liability in the accident.
