Huntington Beach Bicycle Accident on Beach Boulevard, Heil Avenue

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. (Feb. 27, 2025) — A police vehicle struck a person riding a bicycle Wednesday on Beach Boulevard and Heil Avenue in Huntington Beach.

The traffic accident occurred around 7:20 p.m. on Feb. 26th, according to the California Highway Patrol, which is handling the investigation.

Paramedics responded to the traffic collision between a bicyclist and a police patrol unit. The unidentified bicyclist was transported to a hospital with undisclosed injuries.

It’s unknown what circumstances led up to the collision, but CHP officials are handling the case and will determine fault for the bicycle accident on Beach Boulevard.
