4 Injured in Huntington Beach Crash at Brookhurst Street and Yorktown Avenue

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA (August 3, 2022) – Several were hospitalized after a crash at Brookhurst Street and Yorktown Avenue in Huntington Beach.

According to a report by the On Scene TV, the accident took place early Sunday. Officers responded to the wreck at around 1:45 p.m.

The incident happened on July 31 when two cars collided for an unknown reason in the city. Huntington Beach police said the vehicles collided at the intersection of Brookhurst Street and Yorktown Avenue.

2 Cars Collide

A female driver ended up trapped inside her car which slammed into a power pole nearby. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and freed her from the wreckage.

A total of four people ended up hurt as a result of the collision. Medical personnel rushed them to hospitals for treatment of unspecified injuries.

The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, police forced the area of Brookhurst and Yorktown to shut down following the wreck.

The cause of the Huntington Beach crash is still under investigation.
