2 Injured in Huntington Beach Accident on Pacific Coast Highway

HUNTINGTON BEACH (April 2, 2018) – Two were hospitalized after a traffic collision in the area of Pacific Coast Highway and Newland Street Sunday evening, according to The Orange County Register.

The accident was reported on April 1 at 7:38 p.m.

As per the article, Huntington Beach police said four vehicles were involved in the wreck which occurred at the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and Newland Street.

The driver of a Hyundai Sonata was believed to have caused the incident. The motorist allegedly tried to flee toward the beach, but was caught and arrested by the officials.

That person and another patient was taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries. Police did not mention why the driver of the Sonata attempted to leave the crash site.

The collision is still under investigation.
