Car Totaled in Two-Vehicle Crash on Hamilton Avenue

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. (Oct. 26, 2022) — At least one person was seriously injured Wednesday morning in a two-vehicle crash at Hamilton Avenue and Brookhurst Street in Huntington Beach.
The collision occurred on Oct. 26th between a white pickup truck and a green sedan, according to the Huntington Beach Police Department.
The full-size pickup truck sustained major side/front-end damage and the green car was completely destroyed. Bystanders reported the green car was allegedly traveling down the hill from Costa Mesa on Hamilton Avenue. Meanwhile, the white pickup truck preparing to exit the shopping center and onto Hamilton Avenue. The car apparently lost control and crashed into the pickup truck.

The woman driving the green car suffered injuries in the collision at this busy intersection near the Trader Joe’s shopping center. Paramedics transported the woman to a hospital with undisclosed injuries. It’s unknown if the man driving the pickup truck had any serious injuries, but he had a bloody forehead after the crash.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed both of the vehicles from the crash scene.
Witnesses say the crash sounded like an explosion and shook the Trader Joe’s building.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault.
