1 Killed, 1 Injured in Huntington Beach Accident on Warner and Nichols
HUNTINGTON BEACH (August 31, 2018) – A fatal traffic collision occurred in the area of Warner Avenue and Nichols Lane on Friday afternoon, according to The Orange County Register and KTLA.
The accident was reported at around 3:40 p.m.
As per the reports, Huntington Beach police said two vehicles were traveling east on Warner Avenue when for an unknown reason the car hit the back of the pickup truck.
The truck then rolled over as a result of the impact. A passenger was ejected from the pickup during the crash.

Police affirmed that the occupant who was thrown from the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the truck was taken to the hospital to be treated for significant injuries.
Meanwhile, the motorist in the other car was also hospitalized for evaluation. The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released, but officials described them as all adults.
The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
