Man Killed in Huntington Beach Crash on Pacific Coast Highway

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. (Dec. 8, 2025) –  Alec Barbisan, 29, of Huntington Beach, died early Monday in a crash on Pacific Coast Highway near Warner Avenue in Huntington Beach, and police were investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision.

The 29-year-old man was driving an Audi Q5 northbound on PCH. He allegedly rear-ended a Ford Expedition about 2:15 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 8th on PCH, just south of Warner Avenue, according to the Huntington Beach Police Department. The Audi driver suffered major injuries and died at the scene.

Meanwhile, the 44-year-old Sunnyvale man driving the Ford survived the crash and was taken to a hospital for minor injuries. He also cooperated with authorities and the investigation.

The name of the Huntington Beach man was later released by authorities.
